ABOUT ROSEBUD’S CARDS

Rosebud’s handmade creations are made from scratch (literally!) and crafted with love. Our subjects have been painted by hand—either with icing on homemade cookies or Chinese brush painting on silk and rice paper.

Our Cookie Collection (yes, those are photos of actual cookies!) recalls the fond memories of a simpler time: holidays, family and childhood excitement. For as long as we can remember, our family has shared the tradition of painting cookies during the holidays. Now our cookies have taken on a new life, but the creation of our whimsical greetings remains a true family endeavor, baked from scratch and painted by hand, inspired by the sweet aroma and joys that can be shared over a cup of tea or tall glass of milk. (And yes, we have been known to eat the cookies when we’re done with them.)

The Brush Painting Collection captures the essence and energy of the subject and appears like magic on rice paper or silk. The subjects have been hand painted, scanned and printed on fine-art cards and look as if they’ve been painted right on the card.

WHAT SETS US APART

Our attention to special details doesn’t stop with the designs! Our paper good collections are presented in the spirit of fine art. To that end, Rosebud’s cards are individually printed, not mass produced, on Crane’s fine-art cards. Uncommonly beautiful, they have the touch and feel that can only come from 100% cotton. Crane’s cotton paper is tree-free, chlorine-free, renewable and recyclable.

On top of that commitment, we’re happy to offer custom messages and personalization on all of our cards and invitations. You can mix and match our designs for a personal touch to your note cards, kids’ cards, thank you notes and holiday greetings…the possibilities are endless.
